After many years as a sales and service manager and having a hobby of buying and fixing antiques, I decided that I enjoyed my hobby and wanted to make it my career.
Since I had been doing this for so many years, I had accumulated enough antiques to actually open a store in August of 2013, I did just that. I started in Old Lyme and later moved to my current location in East Lyme.
My store, Nutmeggers Antiques, LLC, now not only includes many and varied antiques but also gives me the opportunity to do other things I love – repair antiques, hold estate sales, buy and sell gold and silver, repair lamps, and offer my appraisal opinion on precious items.
